Rector Prof. Nečas met Anna Václavková, a third-year student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss support for her current activities in ice hockey, in which Anna exemplarily represents the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno around the world, and to harmonise her top sporting performances with the demanding veterinary studies. An example of her affiliation with the university is the fact that this gold medallist from the Winter World University Games in Turin 2025 now proudly displays the logo of our alma mater on her hockey equipment.
