It is my great pleasure to greet you at the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno. I am confident that each of you will begin this new stage of study and academic work with dedication and success.
The start of a new academic year invites us to reflect on the many ways in which our university is unique. It is recognised for its prestigious international accreditation in veterinary education — a proud acknowledgement of our university’s excellence and a strong basis for our continued competitiveness within the European higher education area.
Alongside this, our university is proud to hold national institutional accreditation, a recognition that confirms our commitment to the highest standards of Czech higher education and our standing among the country’s foremost universities.
Preliminary results of international research quality assessments reaffirm our university’s reputation as a significant research institution, esteemed by international academic experts.
All these achievements testify that the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno is a distinguished and respected academic institution — one that provides excellent education, fosters the creative development of its students, and equips its graduates with the skills required for broad professional success in today’s world.
